主要从事生物药学教学科研与管理工作。先后承担多项国家和重庆市科研项目研究工作，在国内外核心刊物上发表论文80余篇,参与产业化新药开发获新药临床批件2项，授权国家发明专利4项，获教育部技术发明一等奖。领衔药学专业获国家级一流专业建设点，主持《生物技术药物学》课程获首批国家一流课程建设课程。主编《生物技术药物学》、《药学概论》和《药物制备综合实验教程》等药学类规划教材，获重庆市教学成果奖2项。国家科技奖评审专家、国家自然科学基金委评审专家以及多个省市等科技项目咨询与评审专家。
